William Demant, a leading global company in hearing healthcare is currently seeking a Operations Program Manager in Somerset, NJ.

A major player in the hearing health care industry is looking for a Project Manager to support the scope, planning and implementation of key transfer projects. This change is driven by the Global Operations Strategy to consolidate Operation into a central North American Operations Hub. Continuous improvement and strive to deliver industry best products and customer experience is our core and daily we support thousands of customers with quality products for their patients. Experience in Supply Chain and Project Management is critical in delivering a successful transition implementation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading project team with the goal to optimize the North American manufacturing footprint.
  • Responsible to manage a portfolio of transfer activities and makes recommendations to maximize performance and improve the overall business case for the project
  • Analyze and revamp process and document and determine training plan in support of changes
  • Defines and owns project plan and liaise with core technical and business resources, especially Operations Management, Supply Chain and IT
  • Agree and implement service levels with business units and supply chain
  • Operates with project management principles with the goal to deliver projects on time, within budget, with quality standards.
  • Manages stakeholders, and alerts of any risk to project deliverables
  • Directs team and identifies resource needs, manages project timeline, identifies quality levels in order to meet program goals.
  • Effectively leads the team with structured meetings and information flow with team and other key stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Measure project performance adhering to agreed KPIs and Budgets

Qualifications

  • 4 years managing large scale projects
  • Multi-site and /or off shore experience required.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience within Operations Management
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, stakeholder management, delegation and team motivation skills
  • Strong Lean toolbox preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of implementing large scale projects on time, within budget and with high quality
  • Effective Team and Virtual team leadership
  • Ability to manage in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Relevant Project Manager Certification
