Overview

Summary

The Inside Account Representative responsibility is to develop new business opportunities and maintain current customer relationships through proactive phone contact management. This includes phone support on new leads and current customers. The Inside Account Representative works with the Inside Sales team to determine the needs of the customers and the action plan to meet those needs.

Responsibilities

Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Make proactive outgoing phone calls to current and new customers promoting Oticon products and services.
  • Answers inbound calls and qualifies prospects.
  • Schedules and executes follow-up calls on a daily basis, and is responsible for logging all sales activities in the CRM System.
  • Provides professional and courteous customer support.
  • Maintains customer satisfaction and manages customer relationships and strategic partnerships.
  • Participates in all sales related functions: such as special projects, meetings, training, and trade shows.
  • Participates in quarterly Regional Sales meetings and periodic sales conference calls.
  • Achieves individual and department sales objectives through consultative selling to customers through outbound calls.
  • Responsible for the handling of all co-op and equipment loan contracts and for promoting marketing activities and sales promotions.
  • Responsible for working with regional sales team to meet the sales projection of the region.
  • Responsible to meet daily sales requirements including sales calls and talk time as well as monthly and quarterly regional and tag team forecasts.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating contact information in the CRM system.
  • Responsible for using CRM functionality to dial and log calls and track daily units.
  • Responsible for calling on new and focus accounts.

Qualifications

 

  • BS/BA degree is prefereed
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • 1-2 years of Inside Sales/Telemarketing experience is required.
  • Experience in the hearing health care field, including dispensing hearing instruments or working in a dispensing or hearing aid manufacturing setting would be considered a plus

  • Strong customer service and communications skills
  • Assertive and creative and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Must perform well as both individual contributor and/or team player
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task, resourcefulness
  • Very strong communication, written and verbal
  • Team player
