Oticon Medical is seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill a Territory Manager position in the South Central region.  The candidate would be based in Dallas or Houston Texas area.  The position oversees business operations within TX, and LA, and would supervise a clinical specialist position within the region.  Duties include product sales and support, surgical and clinical support, as well as local and national event support.  Salary is commensurate with skill and experience, with bonus potential available.

On the audiological, side the responsibilities include networking, hands-on training of clinical audiologists on the fitting of our processors on implanted and non-implanted patients and maintenance of current customer relationships through proactive contact management. Candidates with strong attention to detail and organization skills have proven to be very successful in this role. You will also be required to represent the company at various trade shows and participate in all sales related functions (i.e.: special projects, meetings and training). Prior cochlear implant knowledge is a plus.



Candidate must demonstrate skills in the following areas:


  • Strong and proven sales background
  • Surgical contracting
  • Cochlear implant product knowledge and experience
  • Confidence, enthusiasm, sincerity, personal compatibility and team work
  • Industry awareness and excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
  • Problem solving, conflict resolution, and relationship building
  • Attention to detail and deadline
  • Commitment to contributing to a “people first” environment
  • Audiology background strongly preferred.



  • Masters or Au.D. degree in Audiology (or related profession) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology or ABA Certified Required

    A minimum of 2 years of experience in the hearing healthcare field, or hearing aid dispensing required and must be comfortable interacting and communicating with otologists.
  • Must be a “team player”, willing to travel extensively
  • Must be a licensed Audiologist. 
  • Experience within clinical settings including support or sales of bone anchored hearing devices is preferred but not required. 
  • Exposure or experience communicating, coaching and/or training other physicians or surgeons.
