The Learning Designer will partner with Subject Matter Experts from departments across Oticon, Inc. to create high-value training programs for our employees and customers (hearing care professionals).
Reporting to the Manager of Learning and Development, the successful person in this role will apply adult learning theories and instructional design methodology to design effective experiences that target learning objectives, improve performance and deliver business results.

A Bachelors degree in a related field required. Advanced degree in Instructional Design or CPLP strongly preferred
Prior experience developing sales training within the medical field strongly preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience with content creation or technical writing. Work samples will be requested during the interview process
Well-versed in adult learning theory and experience with its application in a corporate environment
Experience in offering training in multiple settings including but not limited to: instructor-led, online, video-based, podcasts, etc.
Strong communicator, both in writing and spoken communications
Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint, preferred
Proficiency with course authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate or iSpring Presenter preferred
