  • Overview

    The Manufacturing Engineer will provide technical and engineering support to the manufacturing sites in Somerset-New Jersey and Tijuana-Mexico. This engineer will have the required engineering competencies and systems training to support a manufacturing area or project.



    • Maintenance of the equipment.
    • Responsible of Production maintenance system.
    • Responsible of Validation of equipment and process in Production.
    • Responsible of Change notification system.
    • Responsible of Calibration system.
    • Responsible of Environmental control system.
    • Be a first level support for internal business critical equipment and be responsible for initial troubleshooting.
    • Be in communication with SPS reporting malfunctions and receive support in order to overcome and correct equipment or process shortcomings.
    • Review, track and conduct time and motion studies for role related positions and overall line
    • Responsible for completing any other Operational related projects that are assigned.
    • Providing technical leadership on all product and process issues. 
    • Carry out structured problem solving.
    • Development and implementation of appropriate supporting documentation, SOPs and process work instructions compliant with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
    • Leading technical improvements under the business’s Continuous Improvement.
    • Provision of out-of-hours support to the business as required by management or as mandated by shutdowns and/or equipment failures.
    • Undertaking, where appropriate, a Subject Matter Expert’s role for Regulatory Audit purposes.
    • All other duties as assigned.


    • Degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, Industrial, Process Engineering, or other related field 
    • 2-4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Experience with Microsoft Visio, Project Management software
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office components (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
    • Expect up to 20% traveling
