    The Oticon Hearing Foundation supports non-profit humanitarian initiatives that further the Foundation's mission to empower people with hearing loss to communicate freely, interact naturally and participate actively.   Our goal is to empower a Community of Caring among credentialed hearing care professionals that enables us to provide access to sustainable hearing care for in-need people and communities.

    The Foundation will evolve into a broader entity under William Demant Holding (WDH) to be funded by donations from individuals and affiliated companies.



    • Work with local and global leadership in defining the WDH Philanthropy mission and strategy
    • Create Marketing and branding materials in support of new philanthropic strategy for both internal employees and businesses and external customers and constituents
    • Define a communication, outreach and solicitation plan through email blasts, newsletters and website
    • Define process and policies in support of hearing aid donations
    • Define communication and outreach to individuals and sister companies to drive funding for strategic programs
    • Partner with internal businesses and departments to ensure process and execution of philanthropic efforts is seamless
    • Define mission activities that maximize hearing health initiatives and contribution in areas with the most need
    • Coordinate the logistics with our event staff on mission, travel, materials and contributions
    • Coordinate with staff to ensure philanthropic efforts are publicized and key customer events drive participation and support.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field required
    • 5+ years of professional experience in fundraising/development strongly preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting
    • Skilled in creative communications and marketing
    • Project management experience a plus
    • Knowledge of CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite.
    • High ethical standards of behavior, good judgment, respect for others, and confidentiality
    • Excellent writing and oral presentation skills
    • Thoroughness and attention to detail
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a multicultural environment
    • Strong network of personal contacts and ability to extend this network extensively
    • Established knowledge and experience of the not-for-profit sector strongly preferred
    • Interest and knowledge of hearing healthcare preferred.
