  • Overview

    The Online Marketing Manager position will report to the Vice President of Marketing and Operations, and manage the day to day planning and execution of digital marketing initiatives , ecommerce, and online community management for Oticon Medical. This position will require daily contact with internal departments as well as our external vendors. The Online Marketing Manager will rely on his/her own experience and judgment to execute and accomplish goals by performing a wide variety of tasks. The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of executing online initiatives, such as email, SEM/SEO, social media and to increase qualified traffic, and overseeing online marketing initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    Support the VP of Marketing and Operations in the following.  Other duties may be assigned:

    • Recommend marketing initiatives or site improvements that contribute to increasing traffic, conversion and sales.
    • Manage the development and implementation of online marketing and ecommerce initiatives intended to drive traffic to website and online community.
    • Create online community content for distribution through digital channels such as social media platforms and our corporate blog.
    • Responsible for building our social media marketing
    • Support and coordinate the search marketing program and paid media; recommend initiatives to continually improve performance of these programs.
    • Assist in all special digital marketing campaigns, i.e. product launches; Marketing Campaigns, etc.
    • Utilization of Google Analytics to measure and analyze to improve customer’s experience, navigation, and on-line marketing initiatives; make recommendations for improvements where appropriate.
    • Recommend the development of supplemental website content/sections.
    • Responsible for website maintenance; ensure website reflects all product and creative correctly; assist in the management of the digital marketing coordinator
    • Advocate best practices and new industry trends and opportunities for increased web sales and online branding.

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
    • 5-7 years in B2C online marketing and web experience; web experience should include a solid understanding of site navigation, use of content management tools and reporting tools.
    • Proven track record in understanding the delivery of Search Engine Optimization, Paid Media, Social Media and Ecommerce
    • Ability to work well across multiple departments and independently
    • Management skills
    • Excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability
    • Strong planning and organizational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Proactive and positive attitude
    • Strong team player
