  • Overview

    William Demant Holding Corporation (WDH) is a Denmark-based manufacturer of Hearing-related products and services. WDH is comprised of multiple market-leading Hearing Aid and Audiology Screening and Diagnostic equipment/service companies. The E3 Diagnostic division is the US sales, service and distribution function for all company manufactured instruments/equipment (excluding Hearing Aids) as well as for several non-William Demant Audiology instrument companies. The E3 Diagnostics division is the leading provider of Audiology equipment and service and is comprised of one central General Office (Arlington Heights, IL) and several dozen Sales and Service offices throughout the continental US.

    Responsibilities

    Includes the following; however other duties may be assigned:

    • Send out annual calibration reminders to customers.
    • Field inbound request for calibrations and set up appointment.
    • Contact unscheduled customers to schedule annual Calibration.
    • Create, maintain and communicate technician schedules according to guidelines. This includes scheduling annual calibrations, installations, routine service, and emergency repairs.
    • Field inbound calls from Customers requesting service. Determine what is needed and schedule appointment.
    • Prepare quotes for service calls, parts and calibrations as needed.
    • Follow up on quotes and purchase orders for service with the customer.
    • Schedule and coordinate inhouse repairs and calibrations to include logging equipment into work area, Creating work order, scheduling technician, weekly follow up for status, communication to the customer on status.
    • Ship manufacturer repairs and follow up on status of repair, including communication to the technician and customer on status.
    • Follow up with manufacturer on status of purchase orders for parts.
    • Filing of customer invoices, work orders and manufacturers purchase orders.

    Qualifications

    • Attention to detail, highly organized
    • Two years office experience
    • Ability to multi-task, resourceful
    • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
    • Good telephone skills
    • Working Geographical knowledge of area
    • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
